It's one of the new NBA contracts that's basically a VIP D-League arrangement. Higher base salary than ordinary D-League, and they're on retainer so they'll bounce back and forth between the team's bench and the D-League based on the team's needs. But the more they're actually playing in the NBA, the higher they get paid. It's a great deal for fringe players.
