Ulis is the best player on the team

When Ulis is hitting like we know he can then he is by far the best Point guard and maybe most important player in college basketball. Amazing what he does and how he leads a team.
Kind of getting concerned with all the minutes Ulis is having to play...It's a long season and need someone serviceable at PG...played 39 minutes today
No doubt we have to have Ulis out there to be the best this team can be, but I'm not sure we have a best player. There is not a guy that you KNOW is going to get you at least 15 every game or that you can go to and get a basket when everyone in the place knows he is going to get the ball.

Hawkins responded with a career-high 13 points off the bench. But with 12.5 seconds left, Ulis dished to an open Hawkins, needing to beat the shot clock. Hawkins didn’t take the shot and turned the ball over to Louisville with a chance to send it to overtime or win.

I think the hope is that as the season progresses, Murray and Briscoe will be able to shoulder more and more of the primary ball handling duties so we don't have to keep playing Ulis 38 minutes a game. That's way too much, and if it continues he's not going to have anything left by the time the tourney rolls around. Not to mention with fatigue also comes increased risk of injury.

Right now Ulis is but by the end of the year it will be Murray because once Murray starts making the easy play instead of the hard one then the Cats will be scary. ... Remember he should still be in HS and has so much pressure to be great especially for Canadian people!!!
I like small ball as much as the next guy, but we'd get killed. Not enough size.
I want Ulis looking for his shot more. He can flat score. Cal telling them all to shoot was a great thing.
