He scores 20 points and 8 assists with ease. Every shot he takes inside the 3 point line is nearly automatic. His 3 point shot is getting back to last year's form. The thing that amazes me the most is his assists. I was so enamored with his scoring that I had no clue his assists were at 8. He is so smooth out there that I don't always even notice when he is doing other things.

8 gms now with min of 20 pts and 5 assists...
May be the all time UK record....
Passed Mash from ' 93.
Elbow is fine now.

I believe the time has come for everyone, including the national media, to start legitimately considering Tyler as a national player of the year candidate. I know we've all got blue tinted glasses on here, but come on, show me another player anywhere that can do what Tyler is doing. He simply just does not make mistakes. Every pass is where it should be, every shot is taken when it should be. His assist to turnover ration (I haven't looked it up) has to be one of the highest in years for a power 5 conference team. Don't think I've ever seen a point guard play with the deadly change of pace Tyler plays with. He keeps the defenders on their heels at all times with this. He has just been doing things most of the year that are both unguardable and unstoppable. I was one who believed for a long time no matter how well he plays he'll never make it to the NBA, but if I've got a pick in the first round after about 10th I'm looking at this kid really hard !

If there are 5 better pg's in AMERICA then the NBA vets better be nervous. He is a bad ass. Best pure point I've seen at UK. I can not say that there has been a single time this year where I saw his size cause a mismatch in favor of the other team. His defense is otherworldly to do what he is doing. Basketball savant.

Ulis is the best pt. guard in America..
WHOA, WHOA, WHOA, WHOA.
Hold on now. So you're telling me that he isn't the 11th best pg in the country???

So you're going to sit there and tell me that Dan Dakich and @UK90 are both wrong?

So basically you're just going to sell snakes and sparklers and not whistling bungholes and roman candles?

He has actually found a way to use his stature as an advantage. I can't believe what I'm watching when I see him play. He can't possibly be this good . He just doesn't make mistakes. 6'4" senior point guards that are labeled as "great" aren't playing with that much poise.
He was REALLY good last year, I thought he would wilt a little under the enormous pressure this year but it's not going to happen.
I would love to see his name in the rafters some day. Please stay Ulis.

If he didn't start the year shooting so badly I'd be more willing to agree. If he keeps this up for another few weeks, sure. I don't think he wins player of the year. That will be Buddy Hield or Denzel Valentine unless they just completely collapse.

I forgot which opposing coach said this earlier in the season but it's the best description I've seen on how Ulis looks out on the floor. This coach said he looks like he's on skates.

He plays with such a rythym and flow that even though he's playing twice as fast as the other players on the floor, it looks easy to him. We are really going to miss him when he leaves.

I think it was the EKU coach. He also said he is the best pick and roll pg he's ever seen. Said he never makes the wrong decision.

he's never really played bad at kentucky. he got pulled one time his freshman year for being too short to guard some guy that was going off on the perimeter. it might have been moody. that's literally it lol.

That's right. The way Ulis looks on the floor reminds me of Keanu Reeves (Neo) in the Matrix when he finally accepted who he was and he believed he was the "chosen one". He could then see the Matrix and the "agents" didn't stand a chance. Ulis makes what he's doing look easy.
