UL a 1 point favorite next Saturday

They won't be no 1 point favorite when vegas puts the spread out. How many visitors are ever favored at Rupp under Cal?
We smack those dirty birdes around. We have the #1 recruiting class in the nation for a reason. Cal has more talent by far. We win big!!!!!!!
I think we win, but I doubt the crowd rattles them very much, They are led by 2 fifth year seniors

Garbage, you can't use Sagarin numbers yet, it's way too early in the season to use that formula.
If we see the same team that played Duke....pretty easy win.
If we see the same team that came out against UCLA and three quarters of the Ohio State game....pretty bad loss at home. By a good bit.

They've already played at the Breslin Center against msu. That's one of the loudest places in the country. Crowd won't bother them. One of the 5th year guys played at Rupp for Cleveland state.
Sagarin had UL #1 in his predictor and a 5 or 6 point favorite last I seen. Was sagarin talking Vegas lines or his projection of the line or his computer systems line? I think kenpom has UL favored now as well, at least last I looked. And Vegas tends to be pretty close to the sagarin computer lines. I don't think anyone should be surprised if Louisville comes in favored. Losing their starting center is probably going to even out the line a bit, however. Regardless, won't matter. Rivalry game. Even when the talent disparity is wide (UK in 11-12 and UL in 12-13), the games are close.
Those fifth year seniors haven't played in an environment like this will be. I'm much more worried about ul's shooting abilities. We need to start knocking down shots. I hope Calmhas them shooting all day and night this week. Work on nothing else.
The Rupp crowd can't get a rebound or score a single point. UL won't get rattled by the crowd, hopefully the Cats can rattle them.
I think the line will be 4.5 to 6 maybe a bit more with the UL player out. The Cards could miss him more than a little.

If it is close late they will foul Briscoe and Lee every trip down the court. Pitino will work overtime to try and get this one. If we don't come ready for a fight we could get embarrassed

Probably none,but we (for whatever reason) aren't the same team that beat Duke. I do think it is possible that Skal has a good game against UL, we will have to put points on the board to win this one. I think the pace will be more to our liking but we will have to man up and play
UK lets it stay colse in the first half and then erupts for a 15 point win the last 1 minutes. UL has 4 players foul out and Ricky P gets a big T thrown on him
Just why do you think UL is going to fold because of the crowd. No doubt a loud arena but this team has played at a packed Mich St arena and played well. Rupp will be no louder. Not like UL is starting a bunch of freshmen.
uK should be favored because home court at Rupp is worth points but probably more because The Cats always get a great whistle at Rupp.
The Cats have played a tougher schedule but UL has played a much better team than anybody UK has played. By the way WKU was ranked higher that OSU before Saturday.
Don't agree! MSU with the students in school was probably louder than Rupp with students gone.
If UK opens as a 5-6 point favorite, you can believe it will get bet way down just before gametime. If it gets down to UK -2, I'd jump on it.
