Just noticed that no one had started this. Probably someone will beat me to it. Sean Hjelle starting out very smooth.

6 straight batters for Hjelle. Now can we do more than a walk in the bottom of the 2nd.

Big inning brewing in the bottom. Bases still loaded, no outs, and Squires with an RBI via HBP so one run in.

Really a good chance for UK to put some distance on Vandy early in the game. Three runs across, bases still loaded for Reks with one out.

I counted 48 pitches on Raby though 2 innings. This could allow us to get into their bullpen early in the first game.

26 pitches in the bottom of the 3rd. 2 more runs with two sacrifice squeeze plays.

8 pitch top of the 4th. I like the way this is going for the weekend.

20 pitch bottom of the 4th but can't get Evan White in. I was kind of hoping for a few more batters in that inning to drive Raby out in the 4th. At 94 pitches through 4, he is getting close to being done.

Raby makes it through the bottom of the 5th so no big advantage to the Kentucky staff on this game.

Hjelle might not make it out of the top of the 6th. Two straight hits to start the inning.

Season high runs scored against for Raby. Nice start for the weekend. Bottom of the 6th sees a reliever.

7 to 1 in the bottom of the 6th. Hjelle doesn't have an amazing Era because of a few bad innings here and there, but he's pitched pretty darn well on Friday nights as a whole. The Era does not tell the tale.

Stover came in with an ERA of over 7. Is Vandy conceding the first game?

Seems like the Cats are in cruise mode, not pushing Stover. It would be nice to get more into the bullpen. Hjelle is done in the 8th.

They're going to get 3 innings out of Stover. We really didn't do what we could have to use up Vanderbilt's bullpen. Could come back to bite us in this series.

Raby had 6 ER all season and he got 6 of those in 5 innings tonight. He went from a 1.40 ERA to a 2.76 ERA. Knocked him out of the top 10 in the SEC. Would have been nice to continue to pound their pitching.

Have to love Friday night wins in the SEC. Two games to get one and win the series. Very encouraging that we swung the bats that well.

Why are we listed in second place in the East Division of the SEC,when we have the best record at 6-1?

Anyone know when they're scheduled to be on tv again?
You can't look at the schedule at UKathletics as it has a place for it but it always says "not available". If you go by the 2017 baseball media guide (make sure to go to page 6 which Adobe Reader says is page 8), it will be April 15, 16, and 18 on the SEC network.
