Cats take on the Ragin Cajuns tonight @ 7:00 pm on ESPN2. Uk comes in at 49-17, while UL-L is 49-8-1. This is a historic game in UK annals, being the first College World series game in either Softball or Baseball.
UK of course, will go with soph. Kelsey Nunley, who comes in with a record of 29-9 and an era around 2.00. The Cats have been a very resiliant team this year, and that really showed in the L A Super regional, where they lost the 1st game to #3 National seed and softball powerhouse UCLA, by a score of 6-4, they came back the next day to sweep the Bruins by a 7-3 and a 7-1 count. Good luck tonight and beyond ladies you have done BBN proud !!

Cats score 1 in the 1st and get another run in the 2nd. Give up a HR in bottom of the 1st, lead 2-1 in bottom of the 2nd.

Home Run...Lauren Cumbess, solo shot leading off the top of the 4th. Cats now up 3-1, bottom of the 4th inning !

This is really exciting! Hope they can get another insurance run and then close this thing out.

They did it ! FINAL score UK 4 UL-L 1, ragin cajuns get 1 hit, albeit a solo HR. Nunley once again is fantastic on the mound. We will face the winner of Okla.-Alabama tomorrow night at 9:30. Way to represent the BBN ladies !

Awesome win for the Cats! That would be a fun event to attend. Oklahoma City is a really nice town. Plus Game 6 of the Spurs-Thunder is there Saturday night.

The ULL pitcher was definitely a looker. Not a huge fan of the glasses, but she was still very pretty, and for once she didn't look somewhat awkward in baseball pants like most of the girls seem to do. lol

How did we do against the Tide this year
Did not play them, or Florida. However, last year we won 2 of 3 from Bama in Tuscaloosa, a first for the UK program !
