UK vs Miami ( Tues. )

Cats vs Red Hawks at the cliff @ 6: pm. UK is 17-7 and 2-4 SEC, while Miami comes in at 13-7 and 2-1 in the MAC.
Do not know who the Cats or Hawks will start on the mound, but should be a pretty good game. UK needs a good mound performance in this mid-week game, before heading down to Bama this weekend.

Glad they moved the game to today, should be able to get it in. Miami has a decent record, and split 4 games at Arizona State to open the season. They should provide us some good competition heading into the weekend !

It could be that Miami is swinnging at everything close, but Harper is looking sharper than I've seen him. Amazing how the approach of the batter is helping a lot of those pitches turn into strikes.

Not sure I believe it since there is one AB that his hosed up in the play by play: first out of the 5th has Massman grounding out but doesn't show the pitch count. When I added it up before, I got to 58 pitches while they were listing 60 and the online was showing 64 pitches at the end of the 5th.

I dunno...anyone else notice how long it took them to change it in (I believe) the 5th when we had guys on 2nd and 3rd, yet the TV stats showed 1st and 3rd for quite awhile? Then for a little bit it was just one UK guy on 3rd before someone wised up.

Probably not even relevant, just saying if you're going at this based on the veracity of the TV crew
