UK vs Georgia cut ups

Van does a great job on these. And I think he touched on something very important: we played and coached scared. We pissed down our leg as a program and I'm not good with that. Stoops is going to have to be willing to risk it all in these games. No half-assed play to keep it close stuff.
If you watch Stoops on the sidelines, he always looks scared to death in these type games.

Going to take another Art Still type of team to break through. That team had no fear that we was playing a Georgia or whoever. Never went into a game thinking that 'maybe we can pull it out if we don't make mistakes.' Just came in knowing they was going to beat the crap out of you on both sides of the ball. Thought this team might have a little of that type of confidence in them but obviously not near as 'bad men' as we thought.

It wouldn't be near as bad had we come out throwing haymakers on both sides of the ball and playing as the aggressor. But to come out like a bunch of scared children is pretty embarrassing. Suppose we can expect the same against Alabama, just because they are Alabama.

Stoops never takes a risk - hell we should go full Joe Lee Dunn on someone like Ga
We sure & the hell ain’t beaten them with no pass rush and playing 5/7 yards off receivers
He never wants to force the action

And makes absolutely no sense. Why not go out throw caution into the wind and let it all hang out. Does he think it could be worse than 51-13. Stoops has been great for out program but man he sure is a pu**y!!!!

Can you really blame Stoops for looking scared to death in front of 100,000 between the Hedges v #1 and back to back bout to be three peat national champions?
Thats a tough situation. Maybe the toughest in the history of CF.

In those incredible clips by Van Hiles…

1. I don’t get the narrative we coach tight in big games….nor does Van Hiles
2. Our players simply didn’t execute well on defensive secondary. The blown coverage was Lovett and Hairston plays soft on his side and the really bad one was in the red zone why give up cushion when Lovett was behind and it was only an extra ten yards to back of endzone….bad execution and UGA hit us when we lacked We did the same stuff vs Florida (the second Td…Hairston was starring in backfield and got bit in play fake) and our safeties have gotten greedy and teams didn’t burn us…but UGA was too good and they burned us
3. Barion clip…at thjs point his ranking is meaningless. He’s a super fast dude and amazing kick off return….but he’s a below average Wr. He never jumps on deep balls…he has to run under it and catch it with his body because he doesn’t trust his hands to high point it. It’s basically a wasted down to throw him deep sideline balls

Buffano, Collins, Woodard..and Coen/White as coordinator need to adjust the gameplan or personnel….it’s really that simple

Disagree. You were looking at a coach that was extremely frustrated at a handful of player that were completely blowing the opportunity for everyone.

My only complaint with the coaching this game was the failure to sit some guys after it was obvious their head wasn't in the game. Especially jager and childress. Those two guys were almost exclusively responsible for the immediate giant deficit that never gave us a chance.

I havent had the chance yet to watch his Georgia breakdown beyond his opening narrative and chat, but I wish everyone would watch these. It would enhance people's understanding so much more. They'd see exactly how piss poor our wrs are (especially brown) and how we definitely don't play soft coverage

The team plays like their coach. Stoops saying that about NIL tells me all I need to know. Stoops goes into these games KNOWING, and probably telling this team. ''We will probably lose but just try your best''. He coaches and has a mindset of being scared against these big teams. And it rubs off on the team. Saban is fearless, and coaches pissed off. And his team usually plays like that. And if they don't he gets into them until they do.

The Childress signing still has me scratching my head. Total WTF by Stoops there.

Zion is way to aggressive to play safety....he's been very bad in pass....he's solid tackler but way out of his zone on coverage a ton. I don't know if Buffano is coaching this up....but Zion was like a dude running all over the place and not too much to his assigned area. That looked like middle school stuff and shocked to see.

I still like him. Tons of physical ability. All he has to do is read his keys and play pass first. He does that and he is outstanding. Not doing that is brutal especially when you consistently fail because teams start targeting you; just like Georgia did to him.

Hairston is guilty too. He cost us a TD vs Florida and let people run by him vs Georgia too.

Tough to play pass D when you're entire secondary is in the offensive backfield trying to tackle a RB who didn't get the ball.
