Cats (8-3) vs the Eagles (6-4) today @ KPP. Boston College has spent quite a while in the Commonwealth, playing 3 games at EKU last weekend, beating EKU twice, and losing a close one to Evansville, to go 2-1.
The Eagles boast a .288 team BA, with 7 HR's and an impressive 35-37 in stolen bases. The team ERA stands at 3,93, not too bad. Their schedule includes so far, Jackson State, Bethune Cookman, EKU and Evansville. Should be an interesting game today !

Scary moment for UK early as Hazelwood struggles with control and ended up loading the bases. He fell behind 3-0 before battling back to get a 2 out strikeout to end the top of the 1st and keep BC scoreless.

0-0 after 2 innings, not much offense today, sunny but COLD. Hazelwood not nearly as sharp today, but battling.

UK took a 1-0 lead in the 4th on TJ Collett's HR, but BC tied it up in the 5th, now 1-1 going to the 6th inning.

I'd be mad if I was Cam Hill. They put him in center for Ryan Johnson and he has to stand out there for two very long innings. Then when he gets a chance to hit in the 9th they take him down and put in Ellington to pinch hit.

Boys if this is any indication of the season losing to a lower tier acc team we will be easy, easy pickings for all the sec teams. Could be one of the worst seasons in UK history. Pitching is horrible and only two Sec bats on the team

Other than Z Thompson, we have ZERO pitching, and not a great deal of hitting...... looks like a LONG season !
