UK uniforms?

Those are the best looking unis Kentucky has worn in many years.
Theyre very basic practice uniforms basically. Just stripes with Kentucky on the front.
I like them 100x more than what they've worn since the '15 season. Everything from '10 transition from the Gillespian like uniform to what they wore through '14...then I loved '15 uniforms too--but these are CLEAN.
The 2010-2014 uniforms were damn good. Idk, always liked the boxes on the shorts. Jerseys were clean too.
I like the jersey. Basic but clean. Not flashy. Says who we are and our play speaks for itself.

These are a variation on our new home/away jerseys except improved. No more asymmetric stripe. Also the Kentucky across the chest is no longer curved but now straight. The entire look is incredibly clean simple and modern but retro at the same time
Oh God another uniform complaint thread. I know, I know let's go back to the 50's and 60's. We want old this and old that...so tiring. You know what, Kansas hasn't changed uniforms in 20 years but they keep winning titles...

Well how many threads do you want about that game? Should we only post about that game? How long until we can post about something else? Are Divkie V, prayer requests, Cal sucks, Duke sucks, UofL sucks, Matt Jones threads ok?? What's the criteria for starting a thread? Does Kentucky's basketball uniforms count as a thread about Kentucky basketball? I have a lot of questions. Just wanna make sure we are following your criteria. Is there a list of approved topics?
It's just recycling of threads. All topics you mentioned have been opened and discussed multiple times. It just gets boring to see the same old things all the time. Not many people like redundancy. Frankly, I dont care if we wore black and pink. I say let them wear whatever the athletes like. And no, they don't like old relics. Period

Agreed but I believe the curve and logo on shorts is a nod to the 1993 uniforms as last season was 30 year anniversary. I prefer the straight script.
I’m glad they are wearing UK gear and not the USA team jerseys. They have the USA warmups on. The jerseys have the American Flag patch. But Kentucky is in the USA and every player is a member of the Kentucky Basketball program so they are representing the USA and Kentucky. Also is a useful branding/exposure event.
The other teams are made up of players from all over their country that play for different organizations so “Canada” or “Germany” is the smallest common denominator that they all fall under (or team USA in the Olympics/world games when players are pulled from multiple teams). If you notice, the African teams logo is also BAL as the league for the continent consisting of 12 teams and they represent the continent of Africa and not an individual country inside of Africa….bc the continent is the smallest common denominator

I don't know, I kind of now like the new logo. I enjoy being known as the UH Wildcats, don't you?
