Cats defeat DePaul by a final score of 6-0, and will advance to play Illinois tomorrow at noon. The Illini beat Marshall 3-2 in a 12 inning ball game.
Megan Prince was fabulous today, as DePaul only got 2 hits the entire game.

Cats going to the Pacific Northwest to face the # 3 seed Oregon Ducks. I think they can pull it off, especially if they hit like they did Sunday !

It is pretty crazy that every matchup has at least 1 SEC team in except one. So, the SEC is guaranteed to lose 2 of the 8 and guaranteed to get at least 2 of the 8 into the CWS. They could add Ole Miss, Kentucky, and Auburn to that.

By the way... zero upsets going into the supers. Interesting.

The softball team just got shafted in Oregon. When Prince came in, the strike zone shrunk down to just right over the middle of the plate. Oregon scores 4 in the top of the 7th once the umpire's strike zone shrunk and UK couldn't score in the bottom of the 7th.

A balk plates at least one run and the strike zone squeeze job by the girl umpire behind the plate was so obvious.
