I have to say that I was not happy with the 2nd half of the last game either .. but I think we need some perspective. Every team has a bad game. Some here have posted we have too few SEC bodies, etc. Well here are some UK players on national lists:
Paul Horning Award (one of six SEC players .. given annually to the most versatile player in major college football):
Stanley Williams, Kentucky
Chuck Bednarik Award (one of eighteen SEC Players .. presented to the College Defensive Player of the Year since 1995):
Josh Forrest, Kentucky
Rimington Trophy (one of eight SEC Players .. given to the best Center in College Football):
Jon Toth, Kentucky
Lou Groza Award (one of three SEC players .. Collegiate Place-Kicker Award):
Austin MacGinnis, Kentucky
Butkus Award (one of sixteen SEC players .. honoring athletic achievement and service to the community for Linebackers):
Josh Forrest, Kentucky
Wuerffel Trophy (one of eight SEC players listed .. College Football's Premier Award for Community Service):
Landon Foster, Kentucky
I wish there were more players on there .. but those guys are certainly SEC level players.
