UK One of Eight Schools TJ Leaf Interested In

Good to hear. We need to get Ayton to re-class number 1. Then after we get him then we'll need a 2nd big. Leaf would be a solid option.

Well, it will not go in that order. If you have the chance to get Leaf you get him now. Kid may be an athletic Chandler Parsons.

Absolutely no reason to wait for Ayton, who hasn't reclassified and if he does, we don't know if UK is even his top choice.

You need to stop worrying about Cal getting too many big men, he will always have a spot for Ayton.

Oh yeah if we can get Leaf now then definitely. But we gotta get that one superstar big man. AD, KAT, Cousins, Noel, etc. That's what worries me the most with this class. To me the superstar big is either Ayton or Giles.

Food for thought Johnny. Other than this year and 2012, Cal's teams that went to the final four had Dorsey and Dozier, Jorts, and Dakari Johnson as the primary big man.

We will be ok.

The Memphis team yeah. But our FF team year before this also had Randle at PF and then also WCS up until he got hurt in the tourney. But yeah man I see what you mean. But its still important and a major advantage to have that dominate big.

I understand.

Although. UConn won 2 recently and their dominate big men were barely 6 feet.

Kyle is a very good player, would have helped us immensely last year. What is wrong with comparing him to Kyle? He can shoot, handle the ball and appears long - but highly athletic he is not. He seems to be a "basketball player" - always a good thing. Give me a skilled basketball player at 6'10" over an athletic tall guy anytime.

I like Kyle a lot as well. But it appears they do not have the same game. Kyle is a setup/spot shooter with nifty footwork in the paint.

This kid may not have the dead eye 3 ball Kyle has but he is good with range. His post game seems totally different. He goes over people when given the opporunity.

Both are basketball players. The athleticism really sets them apart in my eyes. Leaf can do things Kyle will never be able to. IMHO
