Between Lance Ware and having Kareem Watkins on the team. The consensus around most people connected to the events seem to be that it’s still UK.

I’ve been thinking this also. I still think he’s ours but I just find it strange he hasn’t committed. Kat and mkg were considered locks at high school freshman and were both committed before being juniors in high school. I feel like Wagner should even be more of lock than them two were

Hate to tell ya, if UK gets a 3 seed n goes to sweet 16 cal will still be our coach. He won't agree to a lesser buyout with a decent year and we can't afford a full buyout

He’s going to settle his buyout for a reasonable number and try and have at least one place he can call home. Once it’s around 25 million he’ll settle around 8 million and roll. Give or take.

I hate it because he’s going to be asleep at the wheel until then. The guy simply doesn’t care the way he did 10 years ago.

This doesn't really apply to Duke's '23 recruiting though. Out of their recruits, Stewart has been fantastic....Mgbako is a potential special player (only one UK really recruited hard), but can be really hard to watch when he gets too perimeter happy and with HS players, it's not bad to track development. For every DJ Wagner, you'd take a commitment from early, I have no problem with UK not being involved with 3/5 of that committed list.
