Down just two spots apiece in D1 baseball (10th) and Baseball America (15th).

Unlike the polls in football and basketball, it looks like the voters actually take into account who the wins and losses come against.

Need to have a 3-1 week (or better) this week though...

I think there were a good number of losses this week and we lost to two top 25 teams on the road. So, it shouldn't hurt us that much. Compare that to Florida losing 2 of three to Tennessee at home. When you look at it that way, our week doesn't seem as bad. Still, we have to bounce back and make a statement against Missouri. They started hot, but they are coming back to earth and we need to prove that we are real by making sure they don't get the better of us.

Also still in a 4 way tie for 1st in arguably the best bb conf in the country.

Going to be interesting to see if there is any after shock against UT-Martin and shake off the cobwebs of a rough four game stretch against excellent competition.

Yeah, we are all killing each other in the SEC. PAC 12 goes 1, 2, 28, 32. ACC goes 3, 5, 6, 11, 37. SEC goes 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 28, 30, 31. Big 12 goes 4, 9, 10, 13, 16, 34 in the latest Warren Nolan RPI. We aren't very close to the top but boy are we bunched.

Agreed, though the consensus among the experts is that this may be the year that the SEC has a bunch of good to very good teams, but no excellent teams. I've been shocked at how pedestrian certain teams have looked, namely Florida, South Carolina, and LSU. UK still has series left with UT, Mizzou, and UGA, so simply have to sweep one or two of those and go 2-1 in the other one or two if we have serious hope of winning the league.

Wow! South Carolina not too close against UNC****. 4-20 We played them a bit closer. Tennessee getting handled by ETSU. On the other hand, Florida and Georgia helping the SEC SOS.
