Does anyone know the most losses in a season a UK title team has had, that to me is a relevant stat
Thanks6.
It's not really relevant at all though and neither is the OPs stat.
This is what makes this team the most frustrating I ever recall. We can look like world beaters, and we can look barely average. We achieve the stat above but lose the most games in the program's history at Rupp. Maddening.Only time in history we’ve lost 3 in a row at Rupp.
It's rough talking about how much we suck these days, huh?Only time in history we’ve lost 3 in a row at Rupp.
You know what all of the Rupp losses have in common? They happened more than a month ago.We achieve the stat above but lose the most games in the program's history at Rupp. Maddening.
It’s a Jekyll and Hyde team. This is what makes this team the most frustrating I ever recall. We can look like world beaters, and we can look barely average. We achieve the stat above but lose the most games in the program's history at Rupp. Maddening.
Still, it appears that maybe we've turned a corner. I'm trying to stay positive. TRYING!
Agreed. But it doesn't change my frustration level when thinking about "what could've been." Too much talent to have eight losses. But you're right about the timing. You know what all of the Rupp losses have in common? They happened more than a month ago.
You know what the key road wins cited in that stat have in common? They happened over the past month, during a 7-1 (should have been 8-0) run that included wins over three teams in the NET Top Ten.
So, the two things aren't really the same.
Given that the team was evolving with young talent and dealing with several injuries and a stupid NCAA hold on Z, is it a surprise that the Cats improved as the year went along?
