When I said coaches, I was including Cal and Stoops. I started to mention that, but I figured most would pick up on that, since UK was getting spanked by Gonzaga when I posted. While I agree that Jimbo is the most overpaid coach in college sports, I doubt that any school has a football and basketball coach that is more overpaid than UK.
And who is responsible for that Mitch Barnhart!
I don’t understand how he’s not taking more heat. Regardless of your feelings in Cal/Stoops these contracts are ridiculous and bad for UK. Combine that with the NIL and no alcohol and I don’t think he should have a job anymore (regardless of how good the soccer and rifle teams are).
Overpaid and underperforming, worst offense in all of CB and FB. Its painful to watch.
All kidding aside, think I read we are tied for national lead with six blocked kicks against us, and that doesn't count the miracle non blocked kick vs. Missouri, or most likely, the snap over the head for a safety vs. Florida.
What is Jimbo worth for bringing in top recruiting classes four years in a row?
With that talent, he will eventually rise to the top.
We are recruiting classes ranked in the 30s now. That will show up in games going forward.
It doesn't matter how much talent Cal recruits. Unfortunately.
Half of the 22 class are exploring their options right now. Several of the 22 class will be at other schools fall 23.
That's understandable. TA&M and Jimbo will just buy more players and try to upgrade the talent.
Just wait til Texas and OK come on board.
