UK at West Virginia this year?

This Freshman laiden team would essentially have no shot at winning up there. But if we get a home and home and keep a few guys, it could get nasty in Rupp the following year.

Probably the best option, since we've played KU back to back in the challenge. Also has some history to it with Cal vs Huggins, plus we've meet 3x in the NCAAT since Cals arrival.

How does WVU look next year? It would be a tough game, in a rowdy atmosphere. Would be a good test for our young guys, luckily the challenge is later in the season so wed have some road experience by then.

Looks like they are losing 5 seniors, but Jevon Carter, Elijah Macon and Daxter Miles will be back, unless any of them plan on jumping, which is doubtful.
It will be a tough one to win, they will be jacked up for sure.

Carter has entered the draft. But without an agent.

They're really tough to beat there in big games. And their fans will treat this as a rivalry.

Be careful if you drive a car with Kentucky plates. I have heard the locals don't take kindly to fans of visiting teams.

The game should be interesting, and we are already playing Kansas in the Champions Classic, so they were out. Texas could have been an interesting opponent, or maybe Iowa State. Of those options WVU is certainly the best opponent.

That state is full of Kentucky fans. Kentucky will have a great showing there

the fortson/flint team was known for their press. last 2/3 years it's been 'press virginia'

that wasn't really huggins' m o in between, though, was it?

he kept the 1-3-1 from beilein, you may remember. seems to me that's what led him back to trapping defense

I like it. For some reason I always liked Huggie Bear and I believe that he and Calipari get along pretty well. Maybe next year won't turn out well for the CATS but who knows...should be a good test for our young Felines...

We ain't losing to a bunch of rednecks from West Virginia.

Cal will tighten up on the road and it will pass on to the young team. As usual .
