UK 40-27 in second half. Hmmm

He doesn't. I wasn't able to watch the second half. That's what made the difference!

Unfortunately I guess I shouldn't watch anymore games this season, right?

They rebounded a lot better in the 2nd and ran a bunch of dribble drive. That led to quite a few easy buckets when Ulis or Murray got past his defender and the guy inside had to come over and help.

At the 4:00 min. mark the score was 71-48 and we had outscored ASU 39-17 and looked tough and playing like the #5 team in the Country. Lee and POY playing tough and the guards started knocking down their shots and we were rebounding and playing good ball. We just have to get Skal playing better underneath scoring and rebounding and we will be just fine.

Teams almost always go on a run at the end of the game because we slow it down, are not as focused (we missed 4 straight FTs late), and the other team wants to get some easy baskets so it doesn't look as bad.

The 2nd half our half court offense was run quite well. We didn't run half court sets near as well in the first half. Lots of motion with the dribble drive, players not standing around and this offense will be fine. 3 pointers falling definitely helps as well but all/most three point shots in the 2nd were shot in the rhythm of the offense.

To the OP's remark about adjustments. Yes cal does make adjustments but he is also stubborn to a fault about making adjustments as well.

2nd half of tonight's game was equally well played and coached. Best since Duke by far.

You may need to take one for the team this year. Are you fan enough to do it?

I thought Cal doesn't make any halftime adjustments? [winking]
He doesn't, you know that ASU just laid down in the second half. Everyone knows that the only reason they beat teams is because they think it is their right. Everyone lays down except UL which of course won't so the referees have to help them there. (this is a quote of every butt hurt UL fan)

If the deal was I don't watch, they win the championship? Without a doubt I wouldn't be near a tv the rest of the season.

Can I DVR and binge watch after the season?

I don't know if there were major adjustments made, but the energy level was higher. The defensive intensity was up. Our rebounding was better on both ends. On offense, our cuts were better, our passes were more crisp and on time, and, as others have said, some shots fell. And truly, that can't be overstated.

This is a young team, without a doubt. And when shots aren't falling, like they weren't out in Cali, it deflates a young team.

As to the idea that Calipari isn't a good coach, it's ridiculous to say anything close to that. He's proven himself time and again, at UMass, Memphis, and now at UK.

Yes. Unless we have a bad year next year. Then you can't watch any more.
