A lot more generous than I thought.
I'm honestly shocked we're still ranked.
The pollsters were very kind isxall I can say . I expected 22 to 25. 1 more loss and we shouldn't be ranked.
How is uk still ranked? Kentucky should be nowhere near the top 25 right now
That sucks, the kids are going to still think they are good. We need them hungry and wanting to prove RR’s that they are winners and not what they are showing.
No excuse to still be ranked. This is one of those rare occasions where our name has a bigger effect than actual results.
It's hard to believe what two weeks can do. Two weeks ago, I was convinced we were a top 5 team. Now, I'm convinced we shouldn't even be in the top 25. Talk about fool's gold.
I would have bet we were out of the top 25.

maybe, any given day we could beat the best team in college basketball or lose to , well, not the worst but certainly in the 170 range
Two weeks ago we thought we had an emerging Z added to our roster and would only be getting better from there. We didn’t know he was going to be put back on the shelf by our own freaking coach in favor or playing non performing players.
North Carolina lost to then 9-11 Georgia Tech and because they also beat Duke they didn't drop a single spot.
I saw that we are ranked 15 in the coaches poll. Both polls were very generous. I don’t feel good about this Vandy game. We could be out by the next poll. Probably.
That's a pretty good description of my two weeks as well, BB. Fool's gold, indeed. We just can't help ourselves, believing that Lucy won't pull the football away this time ! Alas !
We should not have lost that Florida game. There is no way you lose that game at home. Up 4 with 28 seconds left. Clayton Jr shot a 3 and missed by a mile as their coach called timeout. Had he not called timeout we win easily. They missed a shot but got the rebound and scored to cut it to 2 if we got the rebound we win.

About where I figured we'd fall.
Long road ahead to get back into the top 10. It all starts with tomorrow at cellar dweller Vandy. If they even keep it close, even with a win, the voters will start to suspect issues on the team or coaching (we all know it's coaching).
Win big as we should, and then beat Gonzaga and Ole Miss by 10+, we go into a good run of battles with Auburn, LSU, Bama and Miss St.
But ultimately, what's most important right now is Cal straightens his shit, gets this team back on track, and reunites our fanbase. We are on the brink of a civil war (again) and ruining the excitement we all had just 2 short weeks ago.

Vandy will either get them or scare the shit out of them, Gonzaga pickem first one to 100, LSU/Tennessee/Auburn/Alabama losses ole miss at home pickem.
This is by far one of his most talented teams he has had here but after I read his Big Z comment from his boy Bruiser its clear he could care less and is looking for a buyout. He will be coaching somewhere else next year or the year after, why not Vandy so he could come back and try and throw shit in our face, he would like nothing better.
Well, we were #16 in the preseason polls and now we are #17 and #15, so I guess we've settled into what our ceiling is going to be.........mediocrity.
I see 21-10 finish. And a 5-7 seed at SEC tourney. Which is crazy. Kentucky will be playing on Thursday at the SEC tourney
