There are beatdowns, close but well played wins, and then there are ugly wins. A win is a win, but yesterday was an ugly win. 12 penalties, two missed fgs, the loooongggg snap. Just about all the bad things that could happen (although we had zero turnovers), occurred. Yet somehow the Cats win. I guess you could say Missou played an uglier game than we did, but that's debatable.

We've had a ton of ugly losses over the years, but not many wins as ugly as yesterday. Seems like no matter how badly we play against Missou, we are always in the game. I prefer games like we performed against Ms. State this year. But happy for a win of any variety.

What other ugly victories have left an imprint on your mind?

A win is a win.

About every early win in 2016 season

Last year USC win

Just appreciate a win, there was a time UK would've lost that game 42-6.

I remember when Vandy came into Commonwealth Stadium and beat us 42-0 and the stadium was completely empty. I'll take an ugly win and bowl eligiblity for the 7th straight season.

10 or more penalties- we are flying around hair on fire laying some fools out

Corey Price is a great follow on Twitter. He had all kinds of stats like that. I think it shows they are being aggressive and not sitting back.
Makes sense. I don’t twit so I’ll take your word. I just know I was more visibly frustrated with the penalties than Stoops.

The ugliest of all: Mizzou, 2018.

Most of our penalties yesterday were not the aggressive hard-hitting type. They were the kind that drive fans and coaches crazy. For example, yesterday we had Mo in a 2nd and twenty at one point and without a snap of the ball jumped offsides twice in a row. Still survived the mistakes, but still very frustrating. But we won, and that's what counts in the end.

Ugly wins are apart of stoops culture, we want to be flashy like Tennessee or Ohio st or bama, but that’s not stoops and Kentucky. He is a grind it out, fight it out type of coach

I hope we can enjoy the Vandy and UL games not having to be stressed the whole time. Being stressed for three hours week after week not fun.

Actually i like the grind it out fight it out approach if you have the talent to make it work, but it's all the incompetent errors that make it so frustrating.

We have the talent this year to play up tempo and throw the ball around the field, and put up a lot of points, but unfortunately for the first time in a long time Kentucky has a bad o-line
