I'll say it. This is a nice field. I would do anything for the power K or a wildcat logo from the 70s, 60s, 50s, at midfield.

As much as I despise the cards, that looks pretty sweet with the Heisman bird.
Power K? No thanks. Too lame and boring.
something like this would be dope.
Any field with a red bird on it is trash to me... I don't like U6 or any thing to do with that trash clown place or their fans...

But the field did nothing to anybody. It's a good looking field and just because we are UK fans doesn't mean we can't acknowledge that.Any field with a red bird on it is trash to me... I don't like U6 or any thing to do with that trash clown place or their fans...

Kentucky is bigger than alabama and they have two SEC programs in their state lol. But yeah, UL is a mid major historically.I completely resent the fact that no one took steps to keep them in a UAB-like box. I'd still like to put them back in that box. The Commonwealth is just too small for two P5 football programs.
It'll look good when we blitz down the field on them for 50 points again.Any field with a red bird on it is trash to me... I don't like U6 or any thing to do with that trash clown place or their fans...

I 'spose Bama can be proud. I recall someone pointing out the relative sizes in another thread on this board, but in a different context.Kentucky is bigger than alabama and they have two SEC programs in their state lol. But yeah, UL is a mid major historically.
That pointy half-serif font screamed of unadulterated, Michael Bay, 300 (movie), goofy, manufactured, mid-2000s machismo. Honestly, good for UL moving away from it. Also a pretty big fan of the retro logo. Kentucky desperately needs to kick a Nike swoosh in the footballs for the two logos we have now.Good for them getting rid of the font with the pointy letters. Definitely more college and less janky looking now. For us…checkerboards be gone.

Louisville is our in state rival and because of that I will always be a Wildcat fan! However, I like the design a lot - I have no idea why UK can not seem to be more aggressive in its field logos and design. Have to give U of L credit for this one. Having said that all I can say is..............

Uh, you'd be incorrect.....Alabama has 5,098,987Kentucky is bigger than alabama and they have two SEC programs in their state lol. But yeah, UL is a mid major historically.
Uh, you'd be incorrect.....Alabama has 5,098,987
Kentucky has 4,518,000
Just to further shoot down your argument that we're too small to have 2 P5 schools, Mississippi only has 2,930,000 and supports two P5 schools.........
No I wouldn't. I was basing that off state size.Uh, you'd be incorrect.....Alabama has 5,098,987

Yeah I was really not a fan of UL's designs over the past couple decades. The font was lame, the designs were cartoonish. Their retro stylings in both basketball and football just look good - and in part imo signal at least the appearance of a break with a period of lowlife depravity and reconnecting with a more honorable era. That pointy half-serif font screamed of unadulterated, Michael Bay, 300 (movie), goofy, manufactured, mid-2000s machismo. For us, being free from the checkerboard gimmick might just be enough. Now we can focus on actually improving our look instead of trying to polish a checkered turd.
That’s fanning right there now. Haha. You know, I’d like the dirty low down cards if their fans weren’t so awful to like. Kentucky is all they talk about and how we cheat, suck, ect! Lmao. You just can’t even be nice to them because they won’t let you. Now, of course they have a few really good people over there, but man, the majority of them just ruin their fanbase. If it wasn’t so funny I’d be mad about it. Hahahaha. Nice looking field though in my opinion and It’s going to be fantastic beating the dog poo out of them on it. Go Cats.I can and do, I hate every thing about the dirty bird brains and any team they have... I have hated them almost as long as I have ThugU... Only difference is the ugly orange play in the SEC... But I have hated U6 for a very long time, goes back many years....
I don't like any thing they build to make them look better either...

One is all we have anyway! LolI completely resent the fact that no one took steps to keep them in a UAB-like box. I'd still like to put them back in that box. The Commonwealth is just too small for two P5 football programs.
Looks like shit,, as anything with red and a cardinal does..But the field did nothing to anybody. It's a good looking field and just because we are UK fans doesn't mean we can't acknowledge that.
Birds might need to see a proctologist. La caca roja es no buena.Looks like shit,, as anything with red and a cardinal does..
Or a very bad tattoo that you would want to cover up.That cat looks like a house cat with a sweater on... And I too don't want the Power K back, it looked to much like the other KU school....
So no on the K, yes on the older UK logo we had for years... This new UK logo looks goofy and out of kilter... Maybe a ten year old from one of Nike's friend did it...

Push-up Man is pretty classy. Now, of course they have a few really good people over there,
No I wouldn't. I was basing that off state
Your comment makes no sense, square mile area size of either state makes no difference....population could possibly play a role if it's a very low population. No I wouldn't. I was basing that off state size.
Who exactly could/should have “taken steps?”I completely resent the fact that no one took steps to keep them in a UAB-like box. I'd still like to put them back in that box. The Commonwealth is just too small for two P5 football programs.
One of the worst ADs ever. Maybe only surpassed by Hagan.CM Newton
He is responsible for giving them the boost up. All to save season tix sales for the god-awful coach he hired and wanted to keep employed.
Seriously... it looks trashy AF. Amazed people here like the bird with teeth crap. 😆Looks like shit,, as anything with red and a cardinal does..
The UN... the CIA?Who exactly could/should have “taken steps?”

It doesn't look good though. It looks like sh!t.But the field did nothing to anybody. It's a good looking field and just because we are UK fans doesn't mean we can't acknowledge that.
Yeah? Well, you know, that's just like, uh, your opinion man.It doesn't look good though. It looks like sh!t.
