Tyler Sheen...

^Not if he's looking for immediate PT, which assuredly he is.
Never underestimate the pull of Alabama in recruiting regardless of circumstance and Wolford has reportedly been all over him. Sure, Kentucky likely has more PT to sell, but no doubt Alabama will sell the same thing with Evan Neal now gone which could open up space at one of the tackle spots.

I would think the priority #1. 2 & 3 for him is improvement in NFL draft status for next year. What team gives him best chance of starting at LT, while developing his skills.

I'm biased, but of all teams he us considering UK gives him the biggest opening at LT. while still playing with a great inner 3. Plus will be on a top 20 team, playing in a pro style scheme that 1/3rd of the NFL employs.

Could not put it any better...so I'll just agree with every word you said.

I read an article on him before he started taking visits, and they gave similar reason but for NC State. Their LT is possibly gonna be the #1 overall pick, probably top 5. Bama's is also but they don't have 3-4 5 star tackles to replace him with.

The last article I read said it was down to UK and Bama, if so I like UKs chances

Bama'sfrosh OT have a long way to go apparently. Their LT was pretty good, their RT was awful. So I was guessing those young 5* were not ready to play last year.

Over what? What happened? 🤣 🤣 🤣
You jest, but seriously, on the way to the Sweet 16 on Friday I told my posse we still had UK, even if my county school lost.

There are benefits to waiting until the Sweet 16 to give a damn about basketball . . . like not watching them lose to a 15 seed!!!!

Steen's run blocking grade 68.7 and his pass blocking 59.9.
At least he has a grade. We got nothing right now. CMS must think we can get him coached up to BBW standards or he is better than anything we have to play LT right now until they can get some of the young guys up to game speed.

Last year Eli Cox was a 62 in combined blocking, so it seems he grades out a bit above that, which is not all-sec level, but pretty darn good, though one could argue you'd rather have his pass grade be higher than his run grade when playing LT.

Steen's experience alone in this conference puts us up a few notches from having to play a guy with no experience. Plus here he would be playing with better players and have to feel the coaching part will raise him some also. Good situation for him and us if he decides to come.
