"It was NIL before there was NIL, you know what I'm saying?"

🤣

You guys remember just a few years ago when so many of our fans were naïve to the fact that these elite kids were getting paid for years?
Hell most still believe they weren't. The Anthony Davis story was 100% true

That’s why it’s laughable hearing how the NIL has ruined college basketball. The transfer portal is hurting more than the NIL. No pro league has 1 year free agents at every position. That is far more damaging than the NIL.

We have been paying players for years just like everyone else. Now people can stop calling us the cheaters for paying more than what their team was willing to offer.

That was funny!!

Man, I was SO ready for Tubby to leave when he did because he just wouldn't recruit at the level Kentucky requires. He's a helluva in game coach though and he has always been a class act, no question.

Can you imagine blending Tubby s in game coaching ability with Cal's recruiting? As Kramer would say: " Oh yeah"!!

I've been saying the same thing: NIL isn't the problem, teh unlimited, unregulated transfers are what's going to kill the game if it's not reigned in
