Anyone familiar with this story? I had never heard it which seems odd as it happened less than an hour from my house back in late 80's. Crazy story, seems drug related and this drop point is totally random.

I'm just going to copy and paste from the description. Link to podcast below- if you are into true crime podcasts, this one is good imo. They are on stitcher, iheart and pretty much any platform.

"This week we offer some assistance in an ongoing murder investigation and we are asking for your help. On Sunday, April 9, 1989 a farmer discovered the body a male murder victim inside a barn in rural Grant County, Kentucky. The man was shot and killed and his hands were removed. Kentucky State Police need our help to identify this victim. The male victim is described as caucasian, 6 foot 4 or 5 inches tall and approximately 230lbs. He has brown hair and extensive dental work. Computer enhanced photos of this man and what he MAY have looked like are available on our website www.TrueCrimeGarage.com and the Garage’s twitter and instagram. Anyone with information should contact Kentucky State Police at 859-428-1212 or FBI VICAP at 800-634-4097."

So... in not so many words... you did it?

Lol, I would have been like 8 years old so that would be Michael Myers level stuff. It just surprised me that I hadn't heard of the story as it was so bizarre. The crazy thing is no one has reported this guy missing and he had a ton of very expensive dental work done.

My first thought after listening is Russian Mafia. Just the size of the man and having the flat head. And I think he hasn't been identified because he wasn't from the United States. They proposed that as well.
