They've seen the game film and know they can beat the sht out of our players every trip down the court without recourse. They could've just asked us. We've watched it all season. I saw a game like that at a late lunch in Lexington (Clemson vs McNeese St).

Hope our guys are ready for it. Hope we make free throws and stand our ground (not that it matters if the officials are biased). I don't care if the officials cost us the game. I just don't want to see our guys bloodied again without the other team tasting their own 2x over.

If they want to do that, our response should be to make the game chippy, very chippy. Force the officials to call a closer game.

Also I've said since this matchup was announced this would be a down to the wire game. Everyone thinks just cause they have TROY written across their chest we'll blow them out. Very worried about this game but hope I'm wrong.

Agreed. No games are ever called perfectly, but if we had this type of predictable officiating in the SEC regular season, I’d be satisfied with it

That comes down to coaching. How do you not call fouls if a team decides we are gonna foul 10 times a possession?? The coach makes that decision.

They have 0 answer for Williams. Feed the 7 foot, 265lb behemoth. He needs to be ready to power thru it and score with his overwhelming size, or sell the contact and put them in foul trouble. Hopefully he keeps up the good foul shooting. Tomorrow is a game he should go for 16 and 12.

This. Actually decent officiating resulted in sec struggles like some of us predicted.

Rugby on the boards and mauling every cutter got called all day. If we get the same whistle, we'll be fine.

No. Officiating decides coaching. Before each game league officials meet with officials and tell them how they want games to be called. Before the game, coaches meet with officials. There coaches get instructions on how the game will be called. A&M in SEC play had two hands around everyone’s waist playing defense. They were told today don’t put hands on anyone or it will be called. They played completely different defense today as they have all year. It was made clear. No fouling today.

It's Marchbut this team has only played Hou, Arkansas and Oregon and got blown out in all 3. This cats team has dispersed any team this low all year.

Cal has left us with puckered asses but I think we win going away unless just the worse showing of the year. Which can happen, but I feel pretty good about this one and this group.

I think Garrison will be key in this game if he can match their physicality, overwhelm them with his size and athleticism. Stay calm and just play smart. Hopefully Amari doesn't get in foul trouble and has a huge game.
