I will be heading to Lexington from Owensboro in a few hours. I was wondering if anyone had any information regarding the conditions of the WK Pkwy/ BG Pkwy?
I was thinking about going through Louisville also since that area got a little less than the central part of the state.
If anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated.

Colorado Dept. of Trans (CDOT) has a very extensive web site that provides all kinds of updated highway info. Lots of cams to. Surely Kentucky has an equivalent. Find that, and I bet you'll get the info your looking for. Good luck, and safe travels.

I live in Lex. Idiots have the street blocked because they got stuck. Not real smart on my street.
Long walk to Rupp but I'll give it a go. As the news folks say. "Travel is dangerous"!!!!!!

I would go thru Louisville....I think the WK/BG area got way more snow

Louisville is basically fine.

Anyone know how 64 is between Louisville in Lexington? The only webcam I can find is near Midway. It looks clear, but deserted. I'm particularly interested in the big hill between the 2 Frankfort exits.

IIRC, the state police used to have information about the roads. Having said that, I think they always advised people to stay in to lessen the problems they had to deal with

I'm headed from O'boro to Lexington, too. After combing online resources, it looks like a trip that can be carefully made.

in a different direction and just FYI, I-75 south of Lexington was closed all night with many stranded motorists sleeping in their cars.

I looked at I-64 from the 127 overpass at Frankfort earlier. Four lanes are clear and the cars on I-64 were travelling at high speeds.
