I see it is slated to be on SEC+ , I am one of the casualties of the Spectrum vs. Disney battle so does anybody have any suggestions on how I can get this on my home TV?Thanks

It’s this years streaming only game. You will need a smart tv, Roku, or the like to watch tv. Then you will need a log in for a tv service that has ESPN. The other option would be one of those media boxes that you can get at various flea markets.

Go to safari on your phone or tablet, go to website called stream east, and you will find almost every college football game Saturday. All will be good quality, maybe a play of two behind but it’s a good website and quality for sure

Thanks, but the problem is I don’t have ESPN because Disney took it off Spectrum.

If you have a VPN, you can probably get. I don't have so I don't know sign in process for ESPN+. If you have to use Spectrum id you're probably still screwed.

Download ESPN+. You can get a free trial. Then cancel. I don't think you need ESPN to get it.

According to the app on my phone it's available on both SEC Network Plus (free with your TV/satellite/streaming service login) and ESPN Plus (an extra pay app). If you have a TV/satellite/streaming login, THAT IS NOT SPECTRUM, you don't need to pay the extra for ESPN Plus. If you have Spectrum (even if you have their internet) then ESPN Plus can be purchased and canceled. The guy might even be right about the free trial saving you.

The only caveat is that come game time when you get to the game page, they will give you 2 options to view and you have to know which one you are.

I’m 100% certain in previous years, I have watched these type games with ONLY my ESPN+ account - no provider. I’m unsure if that’s changed for this year, however.

STREAMING FoR BEGINNERS: Normally if you have dish, direct TV, spectrum, or a half dozen of other high end cable TV providers you can for free stream sports on ESPN and SEC Network, NBCsports, CBS sports, CNN, (fox makes you sign in with your email, damn them to hell)

ESPN plus is a pay service you can purchase to stream only ESPNplus shows, but that doesn't even let you stream regular ESPN shows.

I don't even use an app or my phone. I use my laptop. I google search ESPNwatch , click on it,and often they will have the currently streamed sports in visual boxes that you can click on, if you don't see what you want, you can pull down on the tab for schedule/replays and see the print out of current sports streaming (and replays). Now then, when you click on an ESPN or SEC streaming event it will ask you to verify your cable provider and takes you to a sign in box where you need to click on either Dish/Direct/Spectrum that you already have account with (maybe Hughes but not cheapo services) and enter a user name and password for that provider. If you don't have your provider user and password you need to set that up before you do any other step above. Sometimes ESPN does not list what's streaming on the SEC NEtwork and you may have to go to the SEC NETWORK home page and click in the up right LIVE. Make sure you click on streaming the SEC NETWORK and not the SEC Plus or ESPN plus. whew.

REGARDS SPECTRUM, Now I'm not sure if the suits at Spectrum are smart enough to block you from accessing ESPN/SEC streaming because of contract dispute. But I guess someone could do a test before Saturday to see if Sepcturm user and password allows them to stream ESPN/SECN

I pay way too much for DISH but it does allow me to stream sports on the above channels and even more channels, and i wouldn't know how to stream those without paying through the nose for a bonafide provider.

Correct. They could purchase ESPN PLUS for a month even if they have Spectrum though.
That's where you are wrong and spreading bad info. You can't watch it with ESPN + only. You have to have a login to another provider that you are paying for ESPN to.

I don't think I am wrong because on the ESPN page for the game it lists both SEC Network Plus AND ESPN Plus. I know what you are saying but I do believe ESPN Plus will get it for you. If you have other login besides Spectrum you don't need it but it's an option if you have Spectrum.

Maybe you are right, but they say that ESPN+ isn't a replacement for ESPN. I can't fathom they are letting you watch all of the games live that they show on all their various networks for that very low price. It doesn't make any sense.

I feel like some of the people who THINK they are watching on ESPN+ are actually just watching on their ESPN+ app and happen to have some other paid provider login they already validated there that's enabling the actual ESPN games.

I know you can watch some of the more obscure, smaller school games on ESPN+ without a provider login, but am pretty certain you can't watch the regular ESPN games.

Jus listen on the radio like a normal person... I have it but now way I'm going indoors Saturday at 2 when it's gonna be beautiful. I have a outdoor bar and watch room so I'll blast the sound and watch the replay on my day off Monday.

Find someone who has cable other than Spectrum and ask them to borrow their login for the day, the log out of ESPN app on your TV and re-login under their cable credentials or you could sign up for ESPN+ and get it for one month, then cancel. That would cost you less than $10 and you need a smart tv.

ESPN Plus doesn't give you the games on the regular ESPN networks. This isn't on any of those. It's streaming only on the ESPN app on what they call SEC Network Plus.

Never heard of the Stream East option. Looks solid. I get SEC + and ESPN + because I'm with Xfinity but this site looks easier to navigate than ESPN's convoluted site and app.

You are probably correct on this one. It does look like an ESPN+ account only may allow you to stream it. I guess we'll see, but this one might actually work that way.

Like I said in the other tread, get used to dealing with this now cause it will only increase. I fully expect every SEC team to have one nonconference game streaming and 1 conference game as well in 2024.

I will probably just listen to the game and then watch the edited youtube video(s) that post promptly.
Going to a bar is also an option and is under consideration.

If I have YouTube TV. and the ESPN app on my TV and logged into the ESPN app under my YouTube TV account will I be able to record the game in the app. I found the game on the app under the upcoming games, but when I click on it it brings up information to subscribe to ESPN+. So it has me confused. I was under the impression that if I have YouTube TV I wouldn’t have to pay for ESPN+ by going through the ESPN app and putting YouTube TV as my provider. Any help would be appreciated!

You don't need to pay for ESPN+ in that situation. I think sometimes that ESPN app deceptively tries to make you. Just read carefully and choose the option that doesn't make you pay.

But I don't think you can record with the app.

At least in previous years, you most definitely can watch it via ESPN+ subscription. You have to make sure you’re clicking the title card that says ESPN+ and NOT the one that says SEC+

I know it’s stupid they mix plusses.

Provider with ESPN gets you acess to SEC+ feed

ESPN+ gives you access to ESPN+ feed
