I'm sort of a Topper fan, so I will be rooting for them as well. Sure is a snoozer of a game so far.
WKU receivers can't catch anything right now. Dropped one that would of been huge on a trick play, then again in the end zone, then again to get in FG range.
WKU stacking the box defensively daring Vandy to throw. Crazy how far Vandy has fallen from where James Franklin was headed.
Just turned over to the game and did not expect to see a 0-0 score with 2min left. In half. All over BG there are billboards saying "Watch The Most Exciting Offense In The Country". Maybe they will wake up in the second half.
The ol Morgan Newton sacks himself game. Smh.
Newton is living proof that stars don't always mean jack crap. I think some services had him as a five star, hard to believe he was rated that high when we saw him play.
I didn't think it was possible, but Vandy's offense is worse than last year. They will be lucky to win 2 games this season. MTSU just might beat this Vandy team.
Never remember a 5 star but a 4 star was given to him. I know most all the schools wanted him as a tight end.
We need to quit picking on our highly rated players that gave their best, which was a hell of a lot better than most of us could do, and couldn't win for us------usually with supporting players that were rated about a star less per player for the whole team when playing in the SEC. And he was a three star on Rivals, and I don't think anyone ever considered him a TE except for disgruntled UK fans.
Some players turn out a lot better than expected, and a lot turn out worse-----such is life.
I don't know why Vandy's OC stopped running the option. It worked well earlier in the game. Both teams are a little worse than I thought, although WKU's offense took off just in time to get the win.

You neatly left out that he was given preferential treatment by the coach after it was apparent that
he was worse than expected. That's why Newton gets the heat. His coach put him position to
consistently fail. Whether he was a tight end or not, who knows. There was plenty of observable
evidence he wasn't going to be a successful QB .. and pretty early on.
