Top recruit’s father a fan of ‘position-less basketball’ Posted by Ben Roberts at 1:39 AM on Augus

And this is why we will land Simmons , Fox and Monk IMO . as even if you did do positions it would be Fox at pg , Monk at Sg and simmons at combo just like this year it is Ulis/Briscoe/Murray at those 3 spots.

Hope you right, I would be glad to get those 3.

Good article.

This guy wants his kid to be a Cat. I think it happens.

Fox, Monk, and Simmons would work well as replacements for Ulis, Briscoe, and Murray. Three ball handlers on the floor. I like that.

I want Bridges too, though. I would not mind having all four and go really small. Those four with Killeya-Jones, Humphries, and Wynyard inside might be a nice combo. I can't see Cal going that small, though. He'll add another elite big man instead of four perimeter guys.

Love that other coaches are negative recruiting against the "position-less player" talk. Cal keeps putting them on their heels.

And some of our fans are boo hooing the whole concept and calling it "Cal speak." Even if you don't think it's legitimate and it's just a sales pitch, keep it to yourselves. It could hurt recruiting. We know from the past that recruits and their parents read this board.

I firmly believe in Cal's sincerity when it comes to the idea of positionless ball. It's what the pros want and how they play now.

What recruits/parents do we know that have read this board?
