Who ya got?

1. Josh Allen
2. Lynn Bowden.
3. Wandale Robinson (albeit just 1 year but hes gotta be on the list right?
4.Benny Snell
5. Darian Kinnard

That's my 5. Not really in any sort of order. What's yours? One more very good year and Levis will be on this list though it was hard to not put him on it.

1. Josh Allen
2. Lynn Bowden
3. Bud Dupree
4. Benny Snell
5. The list gets harder for me from here, so I'll say Kinnard or Jackson. Both excellent linemen by college standards, let alone historic UK standards.

My 5 are:

Josh Allen
Benny Snell
Wan’Dale Robinson
Lynn Bowden
Chris Rodriguez

My next two would be Mike Edwards and Drake Jackson.

Wow! No Jamin Davis, we don’t have very many first rounders to chose from. I think another MLB will be on this list in a couple of years.

1. Allen
2. Bowden
3. Benny (total work horse)
4. Jamin
5. There’s a bunch that could fill this spot as JP said. I’ll go with Jackson, he brought the line together once he got the nod to start. Bunchy was making a mess of it.

I'm surprised no one has put Levis in their Top 5 right now. Maybe that'll change if he has another great year, but I would put him 6th on my list right now. He's the best QB we've had since Stoops arrived and probably the best QB since Woodson

Granted, he's a punter, but we haven't had many players win national player of the year awards at their position and Max Duffy did just that. I'd put him on any list along with Allen and Bowden. I'd say Robinson and Snell the other two but look out for Levis.

Robinson is special. To me he’s the best player under stoops. Albeit one year.

I believe Josh Allen would have to be number 1. Robinson had probably the best year ever for a UK WR, but as already stated only here for a year. But the question top 5 players, not best careers, so I put him 2. As a team player Bowden took one for the team when there were no QB. Likely cost himself some money, and with WL at QB Robinson might not be the top receiver in Stoops tenure, I put him at 3. There are 4-5 guys that could be the next 2, Snell, Edwards, Rodriquez, Kennard, Dupree and a couple more all have arguments to be top 5.

Couldn't trim it to 5. Not possible for me.

Josh Allen, Lynn Bowden, Boogie, Bud, Bully, Bunchy, CJConrad, CRod, Jamin Davis, Max Duffy, Echols, Edwards, Drake Jackson, Kash, Stephen Johnson, Lonnie Johnson, KJoseph, Jojo Kemp, Darrian Kinnard, Will Levis, Courtney Love, Josh Paschal, Poop, Smoke, Snell, Chris Oats & DeAndre Square, Wandale, Boom Williams, Terry Touchdown, Landon Young, Zadarius

1. Josh Allen ( unbelievable game changer)
2. Lynn Bowden (best overall football player of the Stoops era, would've been great at WR, RB or safety)
3. Wandale Robinson ( unbelievable numbers in 1 year, but how much was due to him being our only real option for most of the year, which makes his numbers all the more impressive)
4. Mike Edwards ( his defensive numbers are unbelievable, wish Stoops would've used him in the return game)
5. Drake Jackson ( along with Toth created the aura of the Big Blue Wall)
5b. C - Rod (to me he will be the best back of the Stoops era when its all said and done)
5c. Josh Paschal ( unbelievable player, leader and warrior)

It's a shame but I really believe Chris Oats would've been in the top 5. His play as a freshman at TA&M was just the beginning and remember Jamin Davis couldn't beat this kid out. Amazingly scouts still ask VM if he will be able to come back.

I'll never forget when Drake Jackson came in and took his first snap under center, you knew things were changing for the better. Was such a huge upgrade!

3. Jamin Davis
4. Josh Paschal
5. Lonnie Johnson

So, yeah... I'm more interested in defense.

I know I will probably catch flak for this, but I would almost have to throw Jojo Kemp on the list. I know he wasn't a break out athlete, but his performance against South Carolina and that post game interview I think really helped propel UK football into the place we see it today.

I don't know why you'd catch flak for that. That's very true and I think most would agree with you.

I just can't agree with those who put Dupree in their list. I always thought he was much more athletic hype, who later became good in the NFL than actual production at Kentucky. He did start to finally come on toward the end of his Senior year, but was kind of average I thought before then. Didn't have much talent around him, so that didn't help either.

Kemp was very solid as a senior

Za'Darius is similar to Dupree in that nature as well

Yeah. Za'Darius seemed to eat against non SEC opponents and then disappear in league play. Both guys developed though after a few years in the NFL.

Good 5. Is there any chance Levi's can replace one of them?

Also Bud was a Joker recruit, but drafted off of Stoops team so not sure he really counts as a Stoops era player.

I've always had a lot of respect for players who did well despite having less-than-optional talent around them. Danny Trevathan is one. Randall Cobb. Winston Guy. Maybe that's affecting my judgement of Dupree, but I'll never forget how much attention he got beside Z and that pick six against S.Car.

Feel like Benny has to be number one as he was a gem right out of the gate

1.Snell
2.Allen
3.Bowden
4.Edwards
5.Paschal

Not sure we had enough talent around them to prevent SEC offenses from scheming them out of the game. Put Bud or Z on the 2022 Cats and they'd be eating between meals against basically everyone not Bama or UGA. JMHO

Looked back at your earlier post and saw that you mention this as well. So, OK... you see it too.
