I know this has been done with the best players. Has it been done with the best athletes? If not then here we go..

1. Davis
2. Wall
3. WCS
4. MKG
5. Bledsoe

If you are just going straight athletes and not necessarily basketball talent, I would throw in EJ Floreal.

IMO I tend to think Bledsoe was the best "pure" athlete, maybe Archie Goodwin close behind. But Floreal and Poythress are pretty close too.

Are we talking just pure athlete?

If so, Goodwin, Bledsoe, Poythress, and Darius Miller have to be on the list.

Can't agree on Miller. With his size and shot, if his athleticism were on par with those other guys he would be tearing up the league.

Nerlens Noel should be on this list. Great leaper and crazy quick.

Not just vertical. Quickness, hops, speed, agility, etc. All the things that make an athlete and athlete. Floreal can jump but how quick is he? How fast is he? We don't know these things.

To me Wall is #1. Not only is incredibly fast, but his also very quick and his agility is off the charts.

I tried to find the video from a game earlier that season where he saved a ball from going out and balanced on the table near press row.

After Wall, I think its Davis, Poythress, WCS, Goodwin.

Crazy to think 3 of them could be from one class. But Bledsoe is incredible too. Blessed to be watching this era of UK basketball.

Still saying you cannot have a top 5 without Floreal. There is no doubt in my mind he would challenge Hawkins (44.5 vert) for highest on the team. Plus an all state California HS sprinter.

Goodwin and Poythress were definitely right there in the conversation for me. Davis and WCS are capable of doing things at their height and length that you don't see very often. That has to count for something. Which is why I ranked Davis ahead of Wall.

Wall and Bledsoe at the top, and then a few other guys who could make a case for third.

Saw Bledsoe once at Calipari's coaches clinic go up and block Patrick Patterson's shot at the very top of the backboard. Not sure if I've ever seen such a stunning exhibit of athleticism. There were a few hundred people in attendance and the whole place just went still.

Wall and Davis probably did some of the most amazing things I've ever seen a uk player do. Wall's ability to sprint the floor and block a guys layup from behind was something to watch.
