What happens in the polls this week? I can't remember a time when so many lost in the same week.

I am expecting something like this:

1. Tennessee
2. Auburn
3. Iowa St
4. Duke
5 ky
6 Gonzaga
7 Bama
8. Marq
9. Kansas
10. Purdue

Iowa State, Alabama, and Duke close behind us and all had good-to-great weeks with no losses. And Auburn's loss against Duke in Cameron Indoor warrants dropping them from #1, but not dropping them very far.....furthest reasonable drop would be our old spot #4. If they land anywhere above that, it leaves fewer spots to accept the people they will want to push up, without pushing us down. That’s what will make it rough for us. In a vacuum our Zags victory more than outweighs our Clemson loss. But we’re not dealing with a vacuum. My guess is most likely we’re 6 tomorrow. Hoping for 5 though.

Maybe not but..
Kansas lost twice
Duke beat Auburn
UK lost to an unranked team
Marquette lost
Gonzaga lost
Purdue lost to a unranked team.

It’s not out of the question. We’ll see
Only two teams above them didn’t lose
Clemson is about to go to the moon.

Goodman has Clemson at 14
John Fanta (Fox Sports) put them at 13.

It's two guys, but I think we'll definitely see Clemson in the top 20, very likely the top 15.

And when these guys are showing Clemson that love in their ballots, a road loss to a top 15 or top 20 team don't seem so bad.

I think writers will have a hard time putting Duke ahead of us. I know they beat Auburn. But they have two losses. We have 1. And we beat Duke. I think the head to head is hard to ignore this early in the season.

I think Iowa State jumps us. I'm guessing Marquette jumps us. Even though the Clemson loss will be viewed as a a really tough road game down as the season goes on--Iowa State is one of the toughest places to play in CBB. We beat Gonzaga, Marquette beat #11 Wisconsin. It's razor think, but I'm guessing Marquette goes above us.

1. UT
2. Auburn: Duke will move up and this is a very forgivable loss.
3. Iowa State: Auburn stays ahead of them due to the head to head
4. Marquette: More forgivable loss, beat #11 Wisconsin
5. Kentucky
6. Duke
7. Florida
8. Gonzaga
9. Purdue
10. Kansas
11. Alabama
12. Wisconsin
13. Houston
14. Clemson
15. Oregon
16. Oklahoma

I think this listing makes the most sense but the AP doesn't always do what makes the most sense.

Duke shot 15 more free throws than Auburn in thst game. It reminded me a lot of how we often get hosed by the refs. Yes yes it was in Cameron indoor; and we were at clemson, but Idgaf. Far too many occasions have been blatantly obvious their not blowing the whistle for same contact on both sides of the floor. End tangent

We also beat #7 on the road, that basically cancels out that one possession road loss to a decent team IMO.

Be surprised if Marquette passes us. They lost by double digits at Iowa St, and their home win over Wisconsin is much less impressive than our win in Seattle.

Could be a close vote though. They weren’t far behind us last week.

I'm just glad to see us were we belong. We got 2 favorable games this week with one being a rival. Win our games this week and stay in the top 10. We are working on a decent seed for March and with the sec mountain ahead we are anywhere from a 1 seed to a 3 seed right now which is something Cow couldn't earn in the last 5 years.

It's amazing how inconsistent refs are from game to game and even from play to play. Scheffelin from Clemson would throw a shoulder into Amari when he tried to post up and they never called one foul on him. Then against the Zags Amari was called for 2 fouls on post ups when all he was doing was standing his ground and the Zag big guy was trying to back him down.

That Duke louisville game was nothing but another Cooper flagg slobberfest

I’ve seen a few of this weeks ballots. Looks like we are gonna be 6 or 7.

And unfortunately one voter put UK at 13 🙄 with Gonzaga ahead of us..
