Leaf from the west coast having family living in Evansville and after visiting last week stated that the ongoing investigation would have no affect on his decision. That didn't take long Louisville is now off the list. Louisville fans better get used to this new norm.

The scandal is going to destroy their recruiting, (heck, it wasn't great before) but I did not think he would pick them, even before the story broke.

King may have to, if he wants to keep his eligibility. Depends on whether he knows Katina, and not just from the newspaper.

A lot of people think Leaf will end up at UCLA from what I have read but UL is going to have a hard time getting good players because of the sex scandal going on and that is fine by me.

Theres no way this is true. Indiana fans must have bought him. He was a rock solid maybe to Louisville before!

My grandad and mom use the word precious all the time.

You're showing your age BB.

No dude. That is that characters Name! Look it up. i remembered it (May have a bad memory but it brought that memory back...) (I'll find a link...)

Damn my bad BB. I had no idea that was his name. Guess being in my 20's I just didn't remember a character that old!

You had me doubting myself...I liked that cartoon... ("Only" 54....) Be Good

54 huh? I'm 29, turn 30 soon, and scared to death. Haha.

I don't want it. I don't want it. I don't want it.

Rick probably did pull the offer...classic.

Also sounds like JUCO/5th year seniors is the route for Rick for this recruiting season.

I've got to wonder how much this is going to cost the state in the long run. If they start really sucking bad they will lose fans in the seats, which in turn means the taxpayers foot the bill for that giant new arena, which we already pay a good bit of anyway. That bad deal keeps getting worse by the day.

As UL's top recruits learn more of the Hooker Scandal, they can be expected to react like this:

Yep. And this is a guy a UL fan I know claimed they had an inside track with based upon the kid's parents and most of his family apparently being from the nearby southern Indiana area.

Then Hooker-Gate hits the news and ....Boom! ...UL's immediately off his list. Get used to it Card fans.

This isn't much of a shock. Who was really expecting this kid to end up at UL? Not me. With their recent troubles with sex scandels and lack of NBA success, I don't see Rick Ever recruiting the way the man used to recruit. He better hope he can turn a 3 star player into a very good college player. At this point, that might be the best they can get to risk visiting their school without being worried about Punishment for the school. For a Kentucky fan, its going to be so much fun watching the cardinals play this year. I just hope they can represent the state well In the NIT.

Not necessarily defending Louisville and Rick, they'll have trouble recruiting given what's hanging over their heads but I don't think they had much of a chance in this one even without the hooker news. Thought Leaf has been close to a UCLA lock for a while.
