I can't put UNC at 7 or even in the top 25 and it's not just because I hate them.

Forgive me, but how can a team basically comprised of 8 freshmen and 2 sophomores possibly be considered the best team in the country? I mean, c'mon.

I'll take a #12 ish pre-season ranking and hope all those frosh are as good advertised. If so, we'll compete for a Final Four. But to start? No way.

Arizona, Wichita State, and Michigan State will all be very good. You'll have your regulars like UK, Duke, and Kansas in there as well. U of L will be top ten. I'll finish out with Nova, UCLA, and Florida.

I understand your point and agree with it to an extent but we all know just about every preseason poll will have Kentucky in the top 3 and most will have us at #1.

Cal has proven he gets most of his 5 star prodigy's to play up to their potential more than most. He's also proven that he gets them to play defensively. It's clear we have a lot of unproven talent; Gabriel is our leading returning scorer and rebounder. It's also clear that we have the most talent, length, and athleticism than any other team. We'll have to see if this will trump teams that have lesser talent but a lot more experience. Same as most other years for Kentucky under Cal.

God, thank you. This team is stacked with talent, yes. But have we learned nothing from the last eight years? They will take time to learn to play together and figure out their own roles. They will lose some games, especially early, and people will inevitably be ready to write the team off by January because they will probably be ranked top 3 to start the season and will have dropped to 10-15.

By the end of the season, I expect them to be able to make a run. But as many very good players as we have, there is no John Wall or Anthony Davis in this team to single handedly win game while the rest of the kids grow up

Their inside game features three freshmen- the best of which is a Top 60ish former Miss State commit.

Duke will have a fair starting line up but nothing off the bench. I can't see them being any kind of contender considering the talent they had last season bringing them a 2nd round departure.

UNC losing Bradley was Hugh! They are a boarder line top 25 team.

UNC ain't a top 10 team . Hell top 20 is hard to see as there have zero inside and only Joey Berry is a top 30 player in the ACC IMO .

I agree . We are the most talented by far but insanely young thats why I put us 2. It is insane to put us out of the top 5 though.
