Took OT for #11 Arizona to Beat Winless Santa Clara

and unless and until he does - don't want him in consideration for the UK job after Cal leaves (many still seem to think he's a good option). He keeps falling short - but you never know what happens in the future
I like his little brother better; feel like he's the better coach.

In his defense, he lost four of five starters from last year. He is not Cal. Cal is the only coach that can lose that amount of talent and not miss a beat.

Having said that, I am a bit surprised that they lost this game. They have some talent and experience. Trier is a star in the making. Zeus should be a dominant big man. I think they really miss McConnell at PG, though.

I think they will gel as the season progresses and might surprise some people in the end. I like Miller as a coach. He will eventually get to a Final Four, IMHO, but until he does, I would not want him as UK's coach. Just my opinion.

Watched the game and not impressed with Miller's coaching on this occasion. TO's not timely (imo) and no results after TO's except on one occasion. Played wrong players at the wrong time. My son goes to UA and Miller is loved there, but not an x and o coach. Good recruiter (from California) with currently no real west coast competition.

Yep. UCLA isn't going to scare anybody with Alford as their coach and Washington pretty much fell off the map once Romar stopped getting those NBA players (Brandon Roy, Nate Robinson, Isaiah Thomas). Krystkowiak may be a good coach at Utah, but needs to prove it over the long haul. Their best competition ATM is Gonzaga.

Not that the Zags are bad, but they are a WCC team and last year aside, tend not to live up to the enormous yearly hype.
