It was funny how the CJ headline pretty much proclaimed UofL's QB problems solved after Jacksons 325 yards of total offense. Never mind his struggles against actual competition. He's figured it all out now after going off on a chump team.
Did you spot the crown royal truck heading towards the UL football player residence? I don't know about that, Samford and Sons is a pretty tough team to beat, along with Houston. I wouldn't call Auburn easy to beat or tough to beat. we wont know how good Clemson is until they actually play someone. Louisville is the "best" team they've played and thats not saying much.
I hate Louisville as much as anyone, but Jackson is the best pro prospect quarterback in the state, and the kid from Western is second. Just saying.

Jackson will be moved to wide receiver when/if Pass arrives there next season. Your football knowledge is poor if you think the NFL values QBs who look for their primary read and then tuck it and take off.

The best pro prospect quarterback in the state is Patrick Towles, and the second, in all probability, is Drew Barker.
I never said Jackson isn't good or that he won't ever be a pro prospect. My point was that the CJ was quick to proclaim the QB issues solved at UofL after one good showing against a lightweight. Jackson is still a true freshman and won't have that kind of success against the likes of Florida State.
Jackson is an unproven running QB. Running QB's in general aren't what the NFL is looking for. The kid from a Western puts up incredible numbers and he's big enough. The question on him is if he's just a system QB.

From watching the two teams I would say Clemson will be exposed this weekend against Notre Dame as well.

Steelers must have changed. You posted several hours ago and he hasn't responded to you. He used to address things like this the instant his name was mentioned. Only comment I have about Petrino's son is that you're 100% right that UL fans would wear the subject out if it were Stoops son. They're a different bunch when their team is terrible.
what amazes me is how quickly they can just roll from one train of thought to another completely opposite or conflicting thought and not realize that they are hypocritical/ignorant. it's like how we used to say we weren't as bad as our record we just played a really hard schedule they always said to quit making excuses and that they could beat anyone on our schedule. they argued bonnafon was better than towles and when we argued that bonnafon wouldn't even play qb past this year they all just laughed.... now that reggie appears to be headed to wr and the new qb shows the exact same skill set, they all claim the new guy is the best around... until pass arrives next year and then he will be the best...all while saying they are still better than us. so ul has 5 qb's better than towles but can't score a passing td on anyone not named samford?
Since there is video on him playing now, they will not slip up on anyone. That usually only works in their first game and then defenses are then ready for his plays. Let them play Notre Dame and if he runs all over them, the talk of the best might be on the horizon.
