He does have trouble handling the ball, but my oh my is he quick once he's got it. Hard to stop!

This is what's so difficult under Calipari. He continues to push highly recruited players into the starting spots, and the guys who didn't have all those stars by their name struggle to develop. They come to the conclusion (sometimes incorrectly) that they are good enough for a future in basketball and aren't going to get it under Calipari and thus transfer or leave in the draft if possible, or they resign themselves to the bench. For one reason or another rarely does a good player stick around under Calipari. Maybe this is the year that Cal FINALLY backs off all the NBA nonsense, let's Welch run the offense (no shame in that) and sticks to what he enjoys the most: recruiting.

I love how we spread the ball around and evenly distribute points around so many players. That’s hard to stop. We shoot a high percentage too. Feels like every game we have a season high in 3’s made for most Cal teams.

Yeah he’s given us so many clutch minutes. Not even close to his natural position but he does whatever we need to win and for him to get minutes. Gotta love players like that.

No doubt, we have seen how he can fight inside, this will improve his rebounding down the line and how to guard big men. I’d love to see the rest of his game out on the wing for what he’s known for. He can obviously score as his OTE stats showed.
