Tom Allen fired at IU

They should take $9 million and go hire a surefire national championship caliber coach.
Facts. They’re too good for Stoops like A&M, maybe they can squeeze the last bit of juice out of Saban, see if Dabo can get the magic back, or get Kirby. If not get a surefire up and comer like Florida did with Sunbelt Billy. Dude went 33-5 his last 3 years at Louisiana, that’s definitely gonna translate to the next level.

Lot of friends and some family that went to IU and we used to play them annually so I follow Hoosier football a little bit.

I kind of feel bad for IU football fans, what few of them that exist. That is not a job, it is a coffin, ESPECIALLY now that Oregon, USC, et al are joining. As often as not, IU gets third choice of in state players in a state that does not play a high level of HS football. Have not beaten Michigan in Ann Arbor since 1967, and has only beaten Ohio State once in last 40 years or so and that was in freaking 1987. Also has one of the smallest stadiums in the B10, possibly second only to Northwestern.

In short, I don't see how you win there, almost no one has been able to do it consistently.
