to be fair though... McShay sucks as a talent evaluator. Remember the USC qb Barker several years ago? He pumped him out of hs as the best qb prospect since forever. After a so so freshman year he said he was destined to be a first rounder. After a good season with mediocre stats as a soph he started to say he may be the first qb picked. Jr year just more pumping and saying he's all world and probably won't come back. Sr year everyone else is talking about how big of let down he was and McShay finally admits he isn't that good and he wouldn't draft him...

I only remember that because those USC teams were loaded so I watched all their top 20 games. McShay was usually the espn caller. It was about like our game with AR15. Just slob and slob... then he just flipped about 2 weeks into his sr season. He litter ali said he would of taken him in the first round as a jr then said he wouldn't draft him as a sr... no explanation just pretended to always be suspicious of his development.
