First, I am impressed with Golden!!! But, he hasn’t set the world on fire at Fla. He was a low seed coming into the tourn.
But, I want to see some consistency before someone takes over at UK.

I will say this, A&M punched Florida in the mouth just like they did UK, but Florida made adjustments and came out swinging.
You mean like we are currently settling for less with Cal and the last few years of mediocrity? Please tell us basketball bennies how sticking with Cal is in our best interest at this point. Haven't won a post season game that mattered in years.
Wimp Sanderson at 86 years old would be an upgrade over Calipari. You could a coach minimum wage and get better adjustments and lineup combinations than Cal provides.
Vs settling for Cal's continued mediocrity?
Get past the battered wife syndrome and realize there is so much more and so much better than Calipari. You just have to let go.

Cal has to go, yes. But we have to find a decent replacement. Not a flavor of the month.
Remember when people were calmoring for Oats or May? Well, Oats can't make a FF and May has 7 losses already and may/may not make a FF again.
There are no amazing home run hires atm. Hurley would be good, but hes not leaving UCnnn. Pearl might be good, but he comes with major baggage. Oats seems mediocre at best (they're just like us atm) and Muss, well, lol. Drew is having a down year, but might be a good call. Who knows.

I agree with that. That’s what happened with Billy G. I do think that Golden is someone that looks promising though. On the other end of the spectrum are the people that eliminate coaches because “they haven’t been to a final four “ . That eliminates almost everyone . Bill Self and Dan Hurley had never been to a final four until they were hired at Kansas and UConn . I believe Drew would be a MASSIVE upgrade over what we have now . Same with Lloyd, and he’s never been to a final four.
I don’t believe Cal is going anywhere soon though. He’s going to Boeheim the hell out of us .

Not sure what you all expect these other coaches to have 0 losses at their schools? I'm sure they would do better with UK's resources. 8-10 losses at their current places could be less at ours. Who knows.
Any guy that can realize sometimes zone is something that needs to be used. Especially to hide a weakness. You know, like any coach with half a brain.

Golden is someone I'd take right now over Cal. He's smart, doing more with less and focused on the college game.
