Why does Cal continuely end games with several timeouts in his pocket? We have recently played in a couple close road games. One where we completely relinquished a 21 pt lead and the other an OT thriller.
I realize with the number of TV breaks many coaches don't feel as inclined to use timeouts. Also, many coaches strategically let their teams play through adversity for team building. However, he has mentioned the need to find a way to rest Ulis.
Thoughts???

I'm thinking there was a new rule this year where a coach can't call time outs...to some effect not exactly sure. I think that was the case in the OT. And second Cal has said in certain situations he don't call a TO so the other team can't set up their defense because we're pushing the ball. I'm sure this probably don't answer your question 100% but it's all I got. Lol
