To those at the game- how was it overall and the Iowa fans?

Seemed like a great atmosphere and compared to many other bowls very well attended. The Iowa fans seemed sincere and fun. They love their teams and in a way similar to us. No pro sports and the state u with longtime solid fans.

According to online sources, 50,700 attended.

My range of estimation of our % was 55-60 percent.

If 55%, our crowd was 27,800. If 60 percent, 30,400.

It was very warm. I used lots of suntan lotion.

Iowa fans seldom initiated conversation before or after game, but were uniformly classy when in conversation with them.

The sound system must date back to the first Tangerine Bowl in 1946 . . . simply hideous.

Venue/stadium is awful. Merch was just as bad. Fan fest was ok.

Like last time, I was shocked how poorly it stacks up to other experiences. Love the prestige though so I'll take it

Like Hack said, they weren’t very interactive, but were polite in my experience, and that’s ok. They weren’t obnoxious or annoying. Me and my group probably could’ve been more interactive so they maybe thought the same, lol.

hard to believe there were 50,000 at the game. I would’ve guessed maybe 40-45k. Lots of room in the upper decks. I agree it was almost even, but probably 55-60% UK.
