To Adobe Software Users

How are you guys adjusting to Adobe's monthly/yearly subscription to their creative cloud service. Do you like it or hate it?

Personally, I hate it. I'd rather purchase the disk instead of worrying about the monthly subscription.

I don't like it either...get tired of being nickled and dimed every month by Adobe

Right now the only subscription I have is Revel, and I only have that because they moved my Photoshop.com library there when it was replaced by Revel. I do find it is convenient to have everything in the cloud when I'm out and about.

I've got Photoshop CS3 on my PC and Photoshop Elements on my Macbook--they are both about five years old but the more recent versions don't add significant improvements for me to upgrade frankly

If you are frustrated with Adobe just wait about another month and Apple Photo (Aperture's replacement) will be available to buy as an application loaded onto your computer

It's worth it for me, but I use a lot of their programs (mainly Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, and Dreamweaver). It's nice when the new versions come out, you can upgrade right away. I get that it's not for everyone though and I wish they had options for those who don't want it.

I still use CS6. I refuse to bow down to Adobe's bully tactics.
