Davis and Wall are officially All Star starters! Great news for our former Cats and for UK in general!

The guys then discussed who should be the reserves, which are announced next week. Shaq, Chuck, Kenny and Ernie all had Cousins as a West reserve. Shaq called DeMarcus the best big man in the NBA. Said that big man and power forward are two different things. But stated he was the best center in the game. Kenny and Chuck didn't agree. Barkley had Brandon Knight over Kyrie Irving as a reserve in the East. Kenny said he had Knight over Irving at first also but flip flopped and went with Irving in the end.

There was also a nice interview with Davis with pics and info on him from his younger years and a good segment on how good he is now. I hope y'all were lucky enough to catch all of this.

They didn't say who was the best big in their opinion. Kenny did say that Davis is the best PF in the league. Barkley also said the top 4 players in the league are LeBron, Durant, Davis and Curry.

Barkley also brought up his personal dislike of DMC, which is well documented after their back and forth a month or two ago. One interesting thing, Kenny and Chuck for sure and I think maybe Shaq and EJ had Cousins as the last guy making the West roster. Kenny said it came down to DMC and Howard I believe and that he just couldn't leave out a guy that's 3rd in both ppg and rpg. So even though DMC has put up insane numbers he still barely makes it in their eyes. And I figure they would be more willing to pick DMC than the coaches will next week.

Luckily though with Aldridge now being out 6-8 weeks it pretty much makes DMC a sure thing.

Out of everything said, I think maybe the coolest thing was Barkley having Knight as an All Star on his picks and not Irving and Rose. They, Chuck specifically, talked Brandon up big time. It's probably the best and most recognition he's gotten since being in the league. It's just a shame the PG position is probably the most loaded position in all of basketball as far as great players go.

Thanks for posting the info. I didn't get to catch that Inside the NBA episode, but I found someone on YouTube that posted it if anyone's interested. LINK

It was a really great 45 minute discussion because most of involved a UK player at some point during the conversation. They had the Rachel Nichols interview with Davis that was 5-8 minutes and then they showed high school pictures and then showed his growth progression and talked about how greats he's become. That was followed by a decent length discussion on Cousins and how good he's become. Later on Knight got a pretty good bit of pub when they talked about how good he's become. Chuck mentioned how they lost the possible Rookie of the Year in Jabari Parker for the season and yet the Bucks have kept winning and they're at .500 because of Brandon Knight and that Brandon is the best player on the Bucks team.

I wish everybody on the board here could have saw it live last night.

Haven't checked the link yet but thanks for posting it Billionth.
