Sorry if this has been touched on, I don't follow the facilities of other schools much, but, I was wondering about what Young's father said. From the article:
And it's not necessarily all the bells and whistles.
"Kansas has the best facilities in the country and most people would agree," he said.
"Kentucky and Duke may be a close second, but you don't want to go to a school because of their facilities. It's about the basketball side of things. The main thing is being comfortable on campus.
Kansas has the best facilities???? Is he talking about just playing in the Phog? that might be true - but the overall basketball facilities.. better than the Craft center? The dorms - better than at UK? I can't see it.
Even just talking about the campus "facilities" -not sure I wouldn't take Duke there... No matter what I think of the basketball team, that is a very good school.
Again - just curious about that part of the article - I don't know much about Kansas facilities, except for the reputation of the Phog Allen Arena. Thanks...
