Titans fire GM Robinson

JRob has has a rough 3 yrs. Mainly his inability to find Oline talent. The AJ Brown trade then curb stomping was the back breaker. Ms. Amy does not like to get embarrassed. I don't disagree with the move, but the timing is odd

While I'm not calling JRob the best ever, I don't agree with the timing or the call. Since he's been here, the Titans have been relevant. I wonder if there isn't more to this story. It's odd.

I got roasted on Titans forums for saying J-Rob will get fired over AJ Brown. Who's laughing now.

I support it. The aj situation was a joke. We don't have any strong passing targets now so we are doomed.

All the other afc contenders have a hall of fame level qb and we have tannehill. Like him, appreciate his toughness at times but 0 chance with him once playoffs start.

It has to be more than just the AJ Brown trade. You don’t typically see GMs get fired in the middle of a winning season with a track record of winning. Has to be something else behind the scenes.

I'm wondering this as well.

ESPN has a video saying that his previous early draft picks are wrapped up in this decision as well......as well as Vrabel's comments saying that he "can only coach those players provided to him...."

But even it's a number of things that are leading up to this, why do it now?......when we have a strangle hold on the AFC-South.......and very possibly looking at another 10 win season? Why not wait?

It’s an unneeded distraction if they’re firing him for his draft picks. Fire him the day after the season ends whenever that may be. I’m sure this isn’t a huge distraction for the players, but at this time of year, you want to eliminate distractions as much as possible. Seems puzzling.

Damn... I'm a colts fan and we are horrible but still sticking with our joke of a GM while the Titans fire theirs and the Titans are a somewhat decent team (good enough to be division leader at least)

Wtf

End of season will be whenever wildcard game finishes. Lol. This team is garbage. Idk how they competed with kc on the road without a qb. Philly and cincy showed what a pretender the titans are the last 2 weeks. The cincy game wasn't even as close as the final score and they didn't have chase or Mixon.

I'm tired of making the playoffs and losing, especially a home game.

As a Titans fan, I’m very happy to see JRob gone. He’s left our roster in a shambles. It all started with the Tannehill contract and has been downhill since…drafting injured players, complete busts one after another, obviously terrible free agent deals. It was time.

Happy to see Amy Adams is committed to winning.

As a Titans fan I’m thrilled. Robinson was a good GM early in his tenure but the poor drafting last 3 years and trading AJ Brown was too much. Glad Amy Adams Strunk isn’t happy with mediocrity from her team

What?!
2012 - Titans went 6-10
2013 - 7-9
2014 - 2-14
2015 - 3-13

2016 - JRob is hired as GM.....his first year. 9-7
2017 - 9-7 went to the Divisional Playoff
2018 - 9-7
2019 - 9-7 AFC championship
2020 - 11-5 - won AFC South
2021 - 12-5 - won AFC South and went to Divisional Playoff
2022 - currently 7-5 with easy lead in AFC South

For certain we haven't made it rain championships, but to state that "he left the roster in shambles?".......after never going lower than 9-7 and elevated the team to 10-12 wins recently? Has he been the best GM in history? Heck no. But let's not pretend that he's been Elmer Fudd.
