It has to be more than just the AJ Brown trade. You don’t typically see GMs get fired in the middle of a winning season with a track record of winning. Has to be something else behind the scenes. While I'm not calling JRob the best ever, I don't agree with the timing or the call. Since he's been here, the Titans have been relevant. I wonder if there isn't more to this story. It's odd.

It’s an unneeded distraction if they’re firing him for his draft picks. Fire him the day after the season ends whenever that may be. I’m sure this isn’t a huge distraction for the players, but at this time of year, you want to eliminate distractions as much as possible. Seems puzzling.I'm wondering this as well.
ESPN has a video saying that his previous early draft picks are wrapped up in this decision as well......as well as Vrabel's comments saying that he "can only coach those players provided to him...."
But even it's a number of things that are leading up to this, why do it now?......when we have a strangle hold on the AFC-South.......and very possibly looking at another 10 win season? Why not wait?

He’s left our roster in a shambles. It all started with the Tannehill contract and has been downhill since…drafting injured players, complete busts one after another, obviously terrible free agent deals.
