They’ve been doing this a couple years now I believe. What’s everyone’s thoughts? I assume the ratings aren’t great but I don’t think the ratings have ever been really high. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong. I assume a lot of people have Prime nowadays but it’s still weird to me watching it like this.

Thoughts?

I don’t know anyone who doesn’t have prime. And sports fans will do what they’ve got to do to watch games. RedZone, Sunday Ticket, cable (!), Hulu, ESPN etc. And all the billion dollar companies know that. Which is why certain packages don’t “offer” certain channels.

Everything is about money and that’s a fact, end of story.

I hate it.

I don’t mind it since I have it. It’s just weird. I like the announcers though. Love KH.

Yea for sure, I like the call, and because of my wife we’re gonna have Prime anyway lol…but that’s how naive we are nowadays.

Just a reality that it’s approaching a $150 annual membership so it’s sold as “hey you get NFL too” when it’s a bunch people lining their pockets and the common man getting fisted. Again.

I have Prime but don't give a rats behind about this game. I'll watch Titans game on prime later this year but that's it.

I like it. These prime broadcasts have had the best picture resolution of any games I've watched. And the broadcast crew is excellent. I wish every game was on Prime. Of course I have been streaming and OTA only for many years now.

I was looking at the prime NFL game vs the Navy/Memphis game. Watching Navy/Memphis.

Now you know someone who doesn’t have Prime. I don’t have it. Not even sure what it is.

Love the Prime NFL games. We are usually at a high school game on Thursday nights, but are home in time to catch the 2nd half.

It started as just free shipping on Amazon purchases, and was like $7.99 a month. It’s since expanded to include an entire streaming TV service, and is like $12.99 a month.
Ok I’ve heard of Amazon Prime shipping. Never paid for the service. Probably have only ordered 3-4 times anything from Amazon. Had no idea they were into TV.

Yeah I just had it for the shipping, and I used my UK work email to get the student discount for 5 years. The TV isn’t that great, but has a few decent shows, and lots of reruns. And of course, now it’s got the NFL.

I don't have Prime but the games usually stink anyway. Just like the London games. I wish they would have better college games on Thursdays like they used to.

Well you assumed wrong. Eagles v Vikings had 16.6 Million viewers, the most streamed game in NFL history on Thursday night. Prime is doing just fine, everyone has it now.

When did HS start playing Thursday nights?
There are always multiple Thursday games here in South Florida....

* Schools who share a city or county owned facility. Here in St Lucie County alone, we have 7 schools and only 2 of them have their own stadium. The other five share two city/county owned stadiums.

* Shortage of referees, which is also the case back in Tennessee.

It's Prime Music as well but it's such a shitty app and it's been made even worse since November when they switched to random play playlists. Even the playlists I've created for years and years won't play. You're lucky to hear just a few saved songs in any list.
