According to Bart Torvik.

Kentucky ranks 8th in the SEC in percentage of field goal attempts being from THREE. They are at 42.4%, and it has steadily gone down over the last few weeks. This is 113th in the country overall, which indicates that the SEC, largely, understands that this is the best way to play offense. At the same time, Kentucky is only 7th in the SEC and 95th overall in 3-point FG percentage, a number that has also tanked recently.

For this team to reach its peak, it likely need to increase in both attempts and percentage.

Tennessee, Auburn and Oklahoma, all are HIGHER than Kentucky in both categories.

Hopefully our guys are just in a slump.
Our 3 point shooting is definitely becoming a concern. I thought we would be a good shooting team.

Good information !! Thanks !!
We rank second in SEC, behind Alabama’s 30.3, at 28.7 3-point attempts per game, which places us 39th in the country.

Just win. I don't care how, just win. A lot of 3s or drives to the basket I don't care. Teams will try to take away the 3 so they have to be able to drive or have a mid-game. Also their inside game has been good. It seems like they can adjust to whatever the defense gives them.

Yes. You simply HAVE to be able to adjust and have answers … or you cannot expect a high-level of success on the year.

UK's been abysmal the last few weeks from the corner three spot, with Robinson, Oweh, and Chandler routinely missing.

I'm hoping Carr takes more threes and that Robinson begins taking more of his threes from the top of the key or the diagonal angles.

The percentage will gradually go up.
