At Indiana in a sneaky tough midweek game on Tuesday and then opening up the SEC slate in Fayetteville.

2-2 is probably a good week. Imperative not to get swept in arkansas.

Hard to know how good Indiana might be. They are 6-9, which doesn't inspire a ton of confidence. However they played 4 Quad 1 games so far and lost all 4 (Clemson x3, Arkansas). Plus they Stanford, a top 25 team. They took 2 of 3 from Missouri State, who is traditionally a good program. Then they got swept this past weekend by Troy in Alabama. But Troy has an RPI of 52 so far, so respectable losses at the moment. So, they've lost a lot but a good chunk of those were to great teams.

Arkansas is beatable, but won't be easy to get wins in Fayetteville. That place will be packed.

Indiana and Arkansas are both excellent programs. Not sure what they have this year but it's definitely a saddle up week for the Cats. Wish the Hog series was here this weekend. Looks like weather is going to be awesome.

Not sure this coach will get it done for Indiana. They are hitting .250 as a team and have a team ERA of 5.97. Luke Hayden likely starts for them. He has a 1.50 ERA, but he's got 2 starts and hasn't thrown over 3 in either of them. Has a couple spot apperances otherwise. So, looks like Indiana prefers to have an all staff approach on the midweek, but they've only played 3 midweek games total (Miami, OH, and Cincy and Purdue Fort Wayne). They've raked in the midweek, but they've faced nothing like UK in the midweek.

UK should handle them.

That's what I like to hear. Even if they're throwing midweek junk against us, I don't care. A win is a win over the dirty Hoosiers :D

Number 1 Texas went to South Carolina this weekend. Left with 2 losses.
South Carolina was a team that we thought would be average or so, but they at least proved this weekend that they can beat anyone, especially at home, which is where UK will head to play them in mid-May.

Georgia is ranked 20th. So far they haven't played too many hard games. Lost to Ga. Tech a couple times and one midweek, but that's it. Hard to tell how good they actually are. Might be good we get them at home.

Auburn and TAMU look like they might bring up the rear. Some bad losses for them, including Auburn losing 2 of 3 to MTSU this weekend.

UT has played almost no one outside of Texas, their lone loss. They are good though. Can hit and pitching is amazing. Might have their ace back by the time we get them in early May.

Missouri is 11-2. One of those 2 is to top 25 team, Gonzaga. They beat struggling Arizona State. Not a lot of great wins there, but also probably not as bad as I would expect from Missouri.

Florida is 13-4. They seem to do poorly early and then get better as the year goes on. Did that last year. Lost 2 to Liberty, who is now a top 25 team. Lost one to Seton Hall this weekend, but got a bump in rankings.

Ole Miss now number 1 in the country. They've lost a couple random games.

Vandy number 4. Lost to OK State first weekend, and haven't lost since against not great competition.

As usual, not easy.

This week should tell us a lot. I’m not really sold on the team so far and we’re lucky to have the record we do against pretty bad competition. Let’s see how they handle these next few weeks.

Mississippi State doesn’t look as good now as they did early on. Losing Landon Simms definitely hurts that rotation as well.

Just realized we don’t play State this year. I was fully convinced that we did. So, scratch that.
